Oxygen8 Communications, global provider of integrated mobile solutions, today announces the appointment of Ray Hanford, as Group Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect.
Hanford joins the Group with a wealth of commercial and financial experience, having previously held CFO positions with Vodafone, Aircom International (backed by Advent International) and his most recent position being CFO of Newbay Software Ltd which he successfully managed the exit strategy to Research In Motion (RIM) in late 2011.
Ray brings with him extensive experience in managing and delivering growth in all the sectors he has worked. He also has extensive international experience in Europe and Japan with Vodafone, and in Ireland and US with Newbay. His responsibilities at Aircom covered 22 international operating subsidiaries.

I am looking forward to supporting and driving the Group development plans around the world and to build on its clear market potential.”
Hanford, who will be based in the UK, will be joining a growing global company with a turnover of £75m and which is on track to increase turnover significantly in the coming years. He will oversee and manage the finances of Oxygen8’s operations across the world which currently includes the UK, Ireland, Australia, USA, South Africa, Canada, Kenya, the Philippines, and the Caribbean.
