Oxygen8 Group Announce Intelligent Communication Platform Plans

Oxygen8 Group, global provider of integrated mobile solutions, has announced plans to move further into the intelligent communications space in 2013, at this year’s Mobile World Congress. This year will see the Group paving the way to offering more effective, secure and personal integrated customer communications, which will increase both sales and profitability for customers across a range of sectors such as retail and financial services.

The company’s move into intelligent communications is set to revolutionise the way mobile is used to communicate with consumers, with plans in place to develop solutions that will enable the industry to send targeted communications through the use of CRM data and multi-channel engagement. “Our aim is to develop a platform which will provide our customers with more power than ever over their communication strategies with specific audiences,” said Shane Leahy, Chief Executive Officer of the Oxygen8 Group.

“Mobile is increasingly being adopted as part of the marketing mix because of its power to reach six billion people,” continued Leahy. “The challenge is to move away from a blanket approach to mobile marketing by making mobile communications more targeted and integrating it more effectively with other marketing activity. Our platform will enable a more informed and joined up process allowing businesses to have more meaningful interactions with their customers.”

The increasing importance of mobile is reflected in the Mobile World Congress agenda with the expansion of its mPowered brands programme, which was successfully launched last year to further develop marketers’ and enterprise leaders’ mobile knowledge and to fast-track their use of mobile.

The Oxygen8 Group will be in room MR8 in the App Planet during Mobile World Congress in Fira Gran Via, Barcelona from February 25-28.
