The Oxygen8 Group is delighted to announce that Oxygen8 Money, the Group’s money solutions division has been shortlisted in the Best Use of Mobile category of the 2013 FStech Awards. The award acknowledges the rise of mobile banking and payments and the fact that mobile is becoming a game changer in the financial services sector.
Oxygen8 Money has been recognised for Bridge, their global mobile money transfer hub, which connects Mobile Network Operators, m-wallets and Money Remittance Organisations to remittance markets around the world. The mobile money transfer hub is technology agnostic and integrates with money sending and receiving organisations such as m-wallets, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), cash-in or cash-out agents and financial institutions.
Commenting on the nomination, Oxygen8 Money’s Chief Executive Officer Nouman Hashmi said, “The FStech Awards are amongst the most prestigious financial technology awards in the UK and with FStech being one of the leading publications in the financial services sector we are incredibly honored. Last year we announced that we had been granted an e-Money Licence by the FSA and this year we mark the launch of updated customer care and agent portals, new remittance corridors and partnerships around the world. Being nominated for this award is a huge vote of confidence in our business model”.
Winners will be determined by an independent panel of judges and announced at an awards dinner on 17th April at Lancaster London Hotel.
