Oxygen8 Group, global provider of integrated mobile solutions, announced today it has expanded its international presence, with the opening of a new office in Singapore – a move that emphasises the strategic commitment of the Group to building a strong position in the Asia Pacific region.
The opening of the Singapore office, which is being led by Louise Ford, Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s Australian operation, is part of the Group’s international expansion programme to deliver innovative and intelligent mobile solutions to the rapidly emerging Asian market.
Joining the Singapore team as Operations Manager is Roman Schubert. Roman, who brings over fifteen years’ experience in global positions within the mobile industry with mBlox Ltd in London and Singapore, will be responsible for setting up the offices connectivity and operations in the region.
Arason Choy is leading business development for the Singapore office, focusing on the corporate services market. Bringing eight years’ industry experience within Asia’s communications industry, Arason has worked in sales management positions for Omni-Comm Pte Ltd and EmBeyond Ltd building new business and developing strategic plans for expansion.
Meizhen Ang joins the Singapore office as Head of Sales with eleven years’ experience in IT and Telecom business development and project management roles, working for mBlox and TechStudio Solutions. Meizhen will oversee all commercial relationships with the carriers, as well as rolling out the Group’s Mobile Payments solutions and Oxygen8 Money, the Group’s international mobile remittance division.

The Oxygen8 Group’s Singapore team will be exhibiting in Hall B2 Block BQ3-01 at CommunicAsia, Asia’s largest integrated communication technology event, from June 18-21.
